At Aloura Family Practice, we are committed to helping protect the health of our community through safe, evidence-based immunisations. Our doctors and nurses provide all routine vaccines in accordance with the Australian National Immunisation Program Schedule, as well as additional vaccines for adults, travellers and at-risk patients.
We provide all childhood immunisations in line with the national vaccination schedule. Our friendly team takes special care to ensure a calm and supportive experience for both children and parents. Every vaccination appointment includes a short health review with the doctor to ensure your child is well enough to receive their vaccine, followed by administration by one of our experienced nurses.
In addition to childhood vaccines, we also offer a range of adult and older age immunisations.
All National Immunisation Program vaccines, including the shingles and pneumococcal vaccines, are bulk billed at Aloura Family Practice.
We offer COVID-19 vaccines and boosters in line with Department of Health guidelines. Our team also provides advice and vaccines for those planning international travel. If you are travelling overseas, please book an appointment with your doctor at least six weeks before departure to allow time for any required travel vaccinations.
Vaccination plays a crucial role in preventing serious illnesses and maintaining community protection. Our doctors and nurses are happy to answer questions about vaccine safety, side effects or timing and can help you stay up to date with your immunisation schedule.
